Bethany’s rise through the ranks is anything but accidental. From early commercial roles to Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and now CEO, she’s held nearly every seat at the leadership table.
But as she explains, the journey was slower than it should’ve been.
“When I announced my CEO role,” she recalls, “so many people commented, ‘About time.’ And while they meant it kindly, each one was a reminder of how long it took to get here.”
That delay wasn’t down to capability. It was the system. Despite her track record, Bethany says she was repeatedly the “final two” candidate for CEO positions — only to lose out to less-qualified men.
